Qualstar is looking for someone with relevant marketing education and/or experience to assist with the promotion of our products and services via traditional advertising as well as electronic channels. In addition, this person will help maintain consistency of our brand related to both internal and external communications. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to start their marketing career and obtain some on the job experience. |Duties:||PRIMARY FUNCTION: |
-Provide support to the Marketing & eCommerce Manager to increase membership and staff awareness concerning credit union products and services.
PROVIDE DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Organization of printed supplies (letterhead, forms, envelopes, business cards, etc.) and branch merchandising (signs, brochures, banners, etc.)
-Internal mailing projects (out-going letters) for account notification as well as promotional purposes-file/data maintenance as well as folding, inserting and postage.
-Assist in the implementation and promotion of credit union products, including staff notification (e.g. rate changes.)
-Assist with the organization and delivery of branch marketing supplies (handouts, brochures, banners, signs, etc.)
-Create and maintain data reports for the purposes of marketing, advertising and research.
PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ECOMMERCE CHANNELS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Website/Home Banking editing and maintenance
-Monthly statistics and reporting for website usage analytics and other online advertising
-Help maintain a presence on Social Media platforms and track usage
-Maintain online presence on search-related sites through key words, phone number listings, maps, etc.
RESEARCH FOR EXISTING, AS WELL AS PROPOSED, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (via the internet as well as other available resources) and utilize information obtained in communication to department manager, as well as other staff and managers.
OTHER DUTIES OR PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.
|Qualifications:||EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:|
-Bachelorís Degree or Marketing Certification desired Ė relevant experience also considered in lieu of education.
-Proficiency in basic features of MS Office Package required (Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer)
-Relevant experience with Adobe Creative programs is desired (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Reader/Writer)
-Relevant experience with online search optimization is desired (e.g. Google Analytics/AdWords)
-Must be detail-oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
-Must be able to work independently and provide consistent, regular project updates to manager.
-Must have valid driverís license, proof of insurance, and dependable vehicle for occasional deliveries and errands (mileage to be reimbursed per current rate.)
-Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
-Must be able to use computer keyboard and mouse.
-Must be able to view computer monitor.
-Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
